Kitchen The iK project proposes a future domestic kitchen space coordinated by digital technologies and refined robotics. The iK responds to the time/ space pressures accompanying high-density living. The design incorporates modular elements constituting a space that is both compact and able to be personalized. The lower center features a refined dishwasher and oven unit that also stores crockery and utensils. To each side are pantry and refrigeration units that include food banks that coordinate with the components of the central tree to prepare meals. Food stocks and processes are monitored through a built-in browser that allows, for example, meals to be prepared online from a remote location, such as the office. |
