It is extremely popular in developing countries where they lack a reliable power supply and have only a limited number of landlines. The product was tooled under our supervision in Asia. Due to the harsh tropical and remote locations the product called for extremely rugged design and construction. It uses thermoplastic rubber components to reduce damage from dropping. |
